Background
Chris was born in Abilene, Texas. As the son of an Air Force Officer, Chris has had the opportunity to live in many different cities around the world. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida. After his undergraduate studies, Chris entered the joint Masters of Business Administration / Juris Doctor program at the University of Florida. Chris was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997 and immediately started practicing law in the area of Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning at the Farr & Farr Law Firm in Punta Gorda, Florida. Chris subsequently moved to Tampa, Florida, joining the boutique litigation firm Ketchey Horan. After practicing commercial litigation for two years, Chris's law firm was acquired by Ackerman Sentefitt, where he continued to practice commercial litigation for four years until joining the Leavengood & Nash firm that exists today. Chris primarily practices in Bankruptcy, Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning and Commercial / Insurance Litigation.
