Defendant was stopped for using an airport runway to perform motorcycle “stunts” without permission.  Defendant was charged with Criminal Trespass.  Michael J. Boyle, Esq. pointed out to the State Attorney’s office some legal flaws with the charge and all charges were dropped.

07-CM-006153 (Hillsborough County)
Defendant was found to be in possession of a switch blade knife while passing security at the Tampa International Airport.  Defendant was charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon.  After discussions with the State Attorney’s office, Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was able to convince them to drop all charges.

Defendant was charged with Felony Battery on a person over the age of 65.  After months of discussions with the State Attorney’s office Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was able to convince the State to dismiss all charges against the Defendant.

Defendant was charged with Fleeing and Eluding and officer.  Defendant was observed running a stop sign and when officers attempted to stop the Defendant, he was accused of speeding away from the officer, jumping out of his car and fleeing on foot and getting away.  Fleeing and Eluding is a 3rd Degree Felony that carries a mandatory driver’s license revocation.  After negotiations with the State Attorney, Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was able to convince the State to reduce the charges to a misdemeanor Obstruction of Justice that carried no drivers license suspension.

Defendant was charged with Battery for allegedly attacking a co-worker at his place of business.  After Michael J. Boyle, Esq. conducted his own investigation of the events and presented the results of the investigation to the State Attorney’s office the charge was reduced to Disorderly Conduct and the Defendant received a with-hold of adjudication (No Conviction).

Defendant was arrested for Domestic Battery.  After successfully litigating a petition for a domestic violence injunction on behalf of the client, Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was able to convince the State Attorney’s office to reduce the Domestic Battery charge to a Disorderly Conduct with the only punishment being a $300 fine.

Defendant was arrested for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting an Officer with Violence, both felony charges.  Michael J. Boyle, Esq. was able to convince the State Attorney’s office to reduce these charges from felonies to misdemeanors.

Defendant failed to return a big screen television that he had rented.  He was arrested for the felony charge of Failure to Redeliver Leased Property.  After months of negotiations with the rental company and the State Attorney’s office, the charges were dropped.

Defendant was accused of punching another individual in a bar and causing damage to the victims face.  Defendant was charged with Battery.  After many months of negotiations with the Victim and the State Attorney’s office, the State Attorney’s office agreed to drop all charges.
